High Intensity, Low Impact
Spoke Club indoor cycling classes offer an intense level of physical, mental, emotional wellbeing. Our classes, based in a hi-fi and grounding atmosphere serve a high level of cardiovascular and muscular intensity while reducing the impact on our joints. The saddle we sit on supports much of the body's weight. The fluid rotational action of pedalling avoids the shock typical of running, softening impact on the knees. This is while the adjustable resistance allows for explosive efforts or high-intensity intervals while keeping the stress on the knees and ankles low.

Indoor cycling boosts mental health by releasing endorphins and reducing stress. It improves mood and focus through sustained aerobic effort. It also supports hormonal balance. Regular high-intensity intervals can increase beneficial hormones like endorphins and growth hormone, improve insulin sensitivity, and help regulate cortisol levels over time. Together, these effects aid recovery, enhance sleep quality, and contribute to better energy and emotional resilience.

Classes don’t just strengthen the cardiovascular system while delivering low-impact resistance training for the legs, glutes, and core. They also give you the grounding space and help you set intentions, meet them, and exceed your own performance.
Repeated pedalling under varying resistance improves muscular endurance in the quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, and hip flexors, and helps achieve and over feeling of strength and stamina. You will boost calorie burning, burn fat, and build strength.
